Triangle Wide Horseman’s Association is a non-profit organization that was established in the 1980’s. Membership averages 300 individuals per year, half of which are Youth. TWHA is an Open Breed Association. TWHA shows are opened to all breeds, riding styles and ages. Events are held at the James B Hunt Horse Complex Raleigh, NC.
TWHA’s goals are to provide a friendly, family-oriented environment where members help each other to develop their riding and exhibition skills. Opportunities exist for children and adults to participate in equine competition on a local level. Children, parents, grandparents and friends can share their love of horses and become involved in all aspects of horsemanship. The Association promotes good sportsmanship and the well-being of our equine companions.
We have something from everyone.
We have an active Youth program which participates in parades, cookouts, and community service activities. Our youth are eligible for scholarships and special year end awards. Contact our youth directors for upcoming events and become involved.
Classes are divided into age groups: Lead Line 10 and under 13 and under 14-18 years 19 and over All age groups may participate in Novice and open classes.
